To cool to be ignored are the upsized Play Arts Action Figures of the Fullmetal Alchemist boys. The set called "FMA Brotherhood Play Arts -KAI-."
Now this is what I call -KAI-!
If FMA fans could remember, there had been an earlier set of smaller but accessory-riddled FMA Play Arts that was released in circa 2004. Well; After five years, Square-Enix had finally released a bigger-sized Alphonse.
Good-bye, Winry. XD
This time, the Elric brothers are being accompanied by the smokin' hot Colonel Roy Mustang.
Due to be released on November 2009 by AAAAnime for $40; FMA fans and Play Arts completists better have them preordered or reserved because I can feel these are going to sell like hotcakes with an alchemy symbol formed by sweet maple syrup in the middle.
If Banpresto can do it, then, Square-Enix too should be able to!
Lets hope that Al's chestplate is still removable and that he comes with a cat in a better pose plus an interchangeable Goofy head. Otherwise, there's still that probably in-scale Banpresto figure of Alphonse. (pic from Dengeki Online)

Great!!! They are marvelous! And I really like Roy Mustang! I was hoping for a decent figure of this character and it's great this will be a Play-Arts!
Oops, This is Trishler =^.^=
