Pointless Dissidia Censorship

"N---NOOOO!!!"

Warning: This post is NOT SAFE FOR WORK.

Most people won't probably care about this but I'll be posting this for the lulz and to point out how Legendary Genome-bred Sexy Trap Kuja was /almost/ sliced to ribbons by the North American Version of Dissidia Final Fantasy.

He is indeed the greatest victim of the "Americanized version." (NOTE THE APOSTROPHE before you go throwing FIRAGA at me).
Along with the crappy voice acting given to him; he also faced pointless censorship.

Observe the Akira Ishida masterfully-voiced Japanese version which I posted in this blog for the third time because of its epic sexiness.

What did you noticed?

Oh and in case you didn't, let me highlight it.

Lovely, no?

Don't look away now.

These myriad of pics, both of the 1P and 2P colors, will certainly prove how the NA version bastardized Kuja's sexiest area.

Highlighting the English version...

Also noticeable is how thin and sexy the Japanese version has compared to the "full briefs" of the English version.

Here comes the Finaleee~

Oh god, that was cheesily voiced.

You probably would say why am I making such a big deal on a trap's pubes, crotch, ass or whatever BUT if it's such a small deal, then, Square-Enix localizers should have just left it alone because they're just adding pointless insult to the injury in Kuja's ENGLISH vocal chords.

Dissidia Final Fantasy Universal Tuning

Ohh, Japan doesn't want to be left behind since there are features in the English version that is not in the Japanese version. That's understandable.

"PRETTY BOY" Cover.

From AmiAmi...

Release Date: November 1, 2009
Genre: Dramatic Progressive Action

The warriors return. Selling more than 900,000 units domesically since its release in December 2008; Dissidia Final Fantasy comes back with new additional elements adding character efficiency adjustment by level 100 which was in the North American Edition, now presenting, Dissidia Final Fantasy Universal Tuning.

Arcade mode, the new feature, being able to raise power levels and some more improvements making this title worthy of the name "fan-awaited." DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY. The fight has not ended yet, here is where the eternal fantasy is beginning.

Further improvements were accomplished in the many additional elements. In the original edition, it is necessary to raise the character, but with the new added arcade mode; you can easily select preset characters without needing to customize or level-up in order to enjoy the battle.Furthermore, there is a "time attack mode" and it's aimed towards clearing the battles in the shortest time possible.

Level 100 characters are given new skills! Battle balance and skill efficiency of each character are readjusted with soft tuning. In addition, more accessories and abilities are added such as the EX gauge in battle and the motion, condition, etc of the summons is now indicated for easily understanding.

While selecting the Blackjack Course Card and choosing the opponent to keep fighting successively, the Blackjack Course presents the highest degree of difficulty to the Duel Coliseum as the enemy level is now 100-150! The enemy gets stronger as the player advances through battle.

New event addition! English voices with Japanese subtitles in the cutscenes (FUCK JOHN D. COLLUM, FUCK!!!) --excuse me, I got carried away-- Only in battle it is possible to change Japanese and English voices.
---AmiAmi ends the commentary with reservation n' stuff, typical for to-be-released games---

Whatever.

Ah...25 days and 3 months to go before I get my Final Fantasy IX Play Arts...

If ya got time, please visit (or JOIN if you haven't yet. Tell 'em Protheus sent you. :3 ) the Dissidia Page in Square-Enix Members.

Seems like after that campaign which I ain't taking seriously, I'll be leaving my interest with Dissidia and would just play Soul Calibur Broken Destiny until the release of Queen's Blade Spiral Chaos.

Voice Actor Overusage: Not in BlazBlue

"Yeah, who cares about Mediocre voice actors when you have sexy BL-dubbing Seiyuus?"

I'm more than happy that Arksys is more than wise enough to hire someone else other than that super overused Yuri Lowenthal. In fact, 3 months before the release of BlazBlue English version, some famous Guilty Gear forum was flooded with people wishing that LOLwenthal should do the "Ice Caaarz" like they never wish to recover from the mothereffing "Tales of SKEEEEITH" or "Saucefag" nightmare.

Thank god for Grimmjow!

"Ride the Ice Caaarz" aside, we see another great performance by the usually-heard Patrick Seitz and Jamieson Price; but most of the cast of BlazBlue are those who don't usually have their names plastered on big-shot games like Final Fantasy and other Square-Enix shenanigans.

Philece Sampler as Taokaka... and this video proves that it's more than winsome.

Jeannie Elias as Gii = WIN too! <3

Sadly though, this "Not-so-usual voice actor Epic Win" isn't the case with Dissidia Final Fantasy. They did hired a not-so-usual one but it sucked Kuja balls.

Yeah, suck that. :P~~~

But Square-Enix did redeemed themselves when they decided to hire Keith "Bloo" Ferguson for Gabranth when Michael Rodgerz is MIA.

Echidna and Airi Revoltech Photoshoot

WARNING: This post is Not Safe For Work.

Proceed at your own risk.

Unlike the Ultimate Leina Photoshoot before, I only selected some pages to "mimic" since most of Echidna's poses like the floor swooping is nearly impossible unless I want to sacrifice a not-so-affordable figure. ^^;

Swapping Echidna's torso with Leina results to this:

Oh god...yellow.
Leina's quality control's really poor...I wish they release a recolor of the skin NOT the clothes. :/

Again, Proceed at your own risk.

...and before I end this, here are the Airi Photos which I owe the readers of my blog since a month and half ago. XD

...and some cool Photoshop Effects. :D
