According to Anime News Network; everyone's favorite despaired teacher is confirmed to leave us once again in despair with a third season starting this July in Japan.

What's more awesome is that the award-winning seiyuu Kamiya Hiroshi (aka: Kamiyan) will reprise his role as the titular character.

Quoting that significant paragraph that brings the good ol' despair news from the afformentioned website:

This year's 21st issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine will announce on Wednesday that a third television anime adaptation of Kôji Kumeta's Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei manga has been green-lit. Zan Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei will premiere on UHF television stations throughout Japan in July. Hiroshi Kamiya, the winner of the Best Lead Actor Award at this year's 3rd Annual Seiyū Awards, will reprise his role as the world's most negative person who happens to teach a high school class.

It seems that the Kanji for the third season's foreword "Zan" is yet to be typed in text form; leaving me with no apparent choice but to marvel at its meaning as I tried to search for its Romanji in any Romanji/Japanese to English dictionary.

...or it could mean "Meaningless" Good-bye Mr. Despair in the first place? We'll see.
